I know it's been a while since my last post, but life has been crazy.
The Monday after Thanksgiving we decorated the Christmas tree. It was alot of fun this year having both the girls help out with the decorating. Well Aubrey tried to help, she did her best.
Sorry this picture is sideways, but I had to put it in.

Of course we decorated Gingerbread houses. If we are in Minersville for Thanksgiving we do it there. Since we weren't Mike's mom sent us a kit. So right when we got it we had to do it, Emily was just too excited. We got that one done before Thanksgiving. Then we had to do another one when I did it with my Young Women. Sorry I didn't get any pictures of us actually doing the decorating, but here are some pictures of the finished work.

Aubrey helped alot by eating what she could get her hands on. As you can see she got a hold of the Gingerbread man in front. The top of his head is gone.

A couple weeks ago we got the flu at our house. First Aubrey then me and Emily the same night. That was not fun. Luckily Mike never got it. Aubrey had a hard time when I was sick and I couldn't do everything she wanted me to. I could hardly do anything. The Sunday after Aubrey ended up in the emergency room because she was dehydrated.
The next day Emily had her not so fun test at the hospital. Everything came out clear, Yay. She said it was the worst day of her life. then I took her to the store to get a treat and it started snowing, then she said it was the best day of her life. Kids are so funny.
It has been snowing like crazy so Saturday the girls went out with our neighbor Shelbie to play in the snow. It didn't last too long because it was so cold, but they had fun.

They thought it would be fun to fill the slide with snow.

I can finally say that I am done shopping for Christmas and I am ready for it to come. Aubrey is just ready to go to Grandma's house on Christmas day. She asks us about 50 times a day if we are going, then goes on to explain everything we will do and every cousin we will see including the dog and cat. She cracks me up all the time. She never stops talking. I love this time of year and will be sad when it is over. I was happy to have the christmas program at church yesterday. I sing in the choir and the songs were so spiritual and reminded me what this time of year is really about. I am thankful for all of my blessings, and the joy the gospel brings in my life.
