The Mighty Hunter Has Returned!
Mike finally got home from hunting, and the hunting season is over. He got home wednesday (yes I am late blogging about it). He was gone for 6 days and we missed him so much.

The girls waited patiently by the kitchen door for their Dad to get home. O.K. so it wasn't that patiently that they waited.

They were so excited when he finally walked through the door. It was way too long for them to be without their daddy.

Dad was so nice and brought home some pumpkins from grandma's garden. Emily has been begging to carve them. She doesn't want to wait until its closer to Halloween, so we let her color one.

Aubrey can barely carry the pumpkin.
I am so glad Mike is back. When he is gone I realize just how much he does for me. He always lets me have breaks from the kids by playing with them or watching cartoons with them. He helps with diaper changing and whatever else I ask of him. He is such a good husband, he is kind and a hard worker. He is everything I could ever ask for in a Husband and I am blessed to have him for eternity. Yay hunting season is over!!!!!

WOW, 6 days! Where did he go hunting? Did he shoot his deer??
P.S. Now that you have your blog, I think that you need a facebook! So many people are on there from high school!

I don't know if I could last 6 days alone. You are a good wife. Your girls look so happy to have daddy home!

I have never had Jess leave for 6 days, but I can't even imagine how it would be.

I love the second picture of your girls. It totally looks like your younger one is wearing her hair in a mohawk. :-)

You forgot to show the deer that he got! Oh wait a minute, you did show the deer, not one. Tell him that if he is going to be gone so long from his cute little family, he must bring home something to show for it. You are lucky to have a great guy. (He can always go on the elk hunt with my Mike if you need him to leave again!)
