I am new to the world of blogging, but I am told that everyone does it so here goes nothin'. As you will soon find out my blog is mostly going to be about my children and what they do and believe me they do some crazy stuff. I guess I should let people know what we have been up to. I am married to an incredible guy named Mike. He grew up in Minersville Utah, and if you haven't heard of it, it might be because there are more cows then people. I met my husband at college in Cedar City Utah. We fell in love and the rest is history. We have been married for 7 years(that's crazy) and have two daughters Emily and Aubrey. This summer we took a trip to Lagoon, the Zoo, and the Aquarium. We had a lot of fun, but the girls would have had more fun if they would have been feeling better. Here are some pictures from the trip.

As you can see, Aubrey would not look at the camera, probably because she knew we wanted her to look at the camera (thats Aubrey in a nut shell).

Heres Emily with the white Alligator. Oooh Scary!!

Emily started her first day of preschool in September. That was weird. She missed the cut off for Kindergarten, so she will go next year. She has so much fun at preschool, except for the day she got lost. Last week I went to pick her up, and I was 1 minute late, because I had to drop my friend off at her house. When I got to the school all the kids were with their moms and I asked the teacher where Emily was. She checked in her house and she wasn't there. Another mom said they saw her walking with another girl. I wasn't surprised because she begs to play with every kid at her school. We drove around the neighborhood looking for her and I was getting nervous because we couldn't see her. We went to the little girls house we thought she went with and she wasn't there. Some kids said they saw her on the corner so we drove down the streeet and turned. Another mom found her and had her. This was a busy street with a school getting out at that time. Emily had crossed the street and crossed back over. When I got to her she was shaking and scared, she was so scared that she had wet her pants. I felt horrible. When I could get her to finally tell me why she walked she said "I had to" and I asked her why and she said "because you weren't there so I had to walk". I felt so bad. To think that she thought that she didn't see me so she must have to walk and find her way home alone. I have been ten minutes early ever since.

Emily also had her birthday last month, she turned 5. She had to have a princess party of course! But she didn't want just any old princess cake, she wanted a Star Wars cake. My mother in law had a cake pan for R2D2, even though it wansn't princess Leia she was excited about R2D2. I don't think any of the girls knew what the cake was. It was pretty funny to see 4 year olds wondering why we were having a robot cake at a princess party, but Emily loved it.

That is some of the stuff that has been going on with us. If your wondering where the pictures of Aubrey are I wasn't kidding when I said she won't look at the camera. I am sure there will be plenty more about my little Aubrey.

Hey Ronda! It's so good to hear from you and I'm so glad to see that you are doing so well. You look absolutely beautiful! We're on the same path as you so far with having two little girls in a row. I am dying that your little Emily looks identical to Bridget when she was little. What a trip. So good to be in contact again with you!
